Free R conjoint design script auto generator

As of March 2025, Metrisim offers a free R conjoint design script generator. This is intended as a convenience for users of the R conjoing package and those who use the Simulator only module and have decided to use R conjoint package as the means to generate a design and to estimate partworths.

How to use - step by step

Login to Metrisim via the access menu item.
Ignore the simulator setup file request, and select R tools from the menu.
Upload your attribute map file and Metrisim will automatically create the R script required to generate a fractional experimental design using the R conjoint package / library.
Click on Export and then click on the download link that is generated; this will download the required .R file.
Alter the path in the setwd command at the top of the file to match the path to your project on your own computer.
The generated script uses the default arguments that should suit most users; consult the R conjoint reference if you are a more advanced user.
